Sponsored post blitz coming
As usual, I have a deadline to finish up a big load of sponsored post gigs. But you don’t mind do you? I didn’t think so. Just skim on over if you don’t want to read. It can be quite challenging at times figure out how to incorporate keywords like human resources software into a regular post but I always manage to get it done. I don’t know why I always mess around and wait until the last minute but it never fails, every 2 weeks I’m scrambling to get those posts done in time so I can get paid for them. Otherwise, the unfinished ones will not count for another 2 weeks because the cut off is every other money. I guess it’s just the procrastinator in me. I can’t change. I’ve tried.
Halloween Costumes
I loathe Halloween. Even as a kids I hated it. As a parent, I hate it even more. The main reason? Money. Have you checked the price of those costumes for kids lately? They range anywhere from $20 up to as much as $60. I just can’t do that! And I am not crafty so making them is just not an option. Last year we threw something together at the last minutes without spending much money. But this year they girls are all a buzz about what they want to wear for Halloween. My nine year old wants to be a pop star but the problem here is the sexy costumes they are offering like this. Absolutely not! I’m sure we’ll figure something out. Can’t wait until it’s over.
Glad it's not me.
Both of my nieces are pregnant right now. They are sisters, by the way. But anyway, the oldest one is due with her first in November and the younger is due with her second in January, I think. I’m so excited for them. I’m sure they are having fun shopping for cute baby stuff like Da Vinci baby furniture, strollers, car seats, and all that other stuff that goes along with getting ready for a new baby. Yeah, well, I’m happy for them but I sure am glad it’s not me.
We need to move
We are seriously out growing our house. I came to this realitization this past weekend when we had Maddie’s little friend spend the night. Too many people in such a small space. My kids are always bugging me about moving but the cost of moving companies is not something we can really afford right now. They want their own rooms and I completely understand that, however, they will just have to be patient. When the time is right it will happen.
What I have to do today
This is a big weekend here at our house. Maddie’s 9th birthday is tomorrow and, of course, I still haven’t gotten her give. She is getting a Nintendo DS and I had to wait until the Hubs got paid until I could buy it. I’m about to leave in a bit to run over to Walmart to pick it up. She is having her best friend spend the night tonight so we’ve got to clean clean clean before she gets here. The girls’ room is such a pit. I also have other house cleaning duties to do that I have been neglecting. We don’t have a dishwasher so I have to hand wash everything. The dishes are piled up to the ceiling right now. Every single utensil is dirty even the safety utility knife! Guess I better get off this blog and get to work.
Need!
I am in desperate need of some contemporary office furniture. I still have my very first computer desk that I bought back in year 2000. Fortunately, I do not have that original desktop computer, though. I’ve been through 2 more desktop PCs since then. As for my laptop, I just have it set up on my dining room table which has worked out fine. I would love to replace that old desk, though. It is about to fall apart!
I wish
I wish that I was able to take my kids on a proper vacation. They are dying to do to Disney World, Epcot, Universal Theme Parks and all those other fun places. If we were able to take a trip like that then we would have to stay a pretty long time. It would probably be a good idea to check out getting into a Orlando rental home rather than a hotel. What would be even better is if we went with my sister and her family and split the cost. Yeah, I really like that idea.
Coke zero : Life as it should be : Real taste, zero sugar

Have any of you tried the new Coke zero? It has a real taste and zero sugar wish is great but I am not a big fan of diet drinks. I need to give this one a try, though because I was talking to a friend of mine a few weeks ago and she was telling about this Weight Watchers cake recipe she has that calls for Coke Zero to be used in it. She said that her family absolutely loved it! I mean who doesn’t love cake?
I've got a while until I have to think about this
I can’t believe how fast time is going by. My kids are growing up so fast. It still hasn’t sunk in that this time next year I’ll have a middle school aged child. Th next thing you know I’ll turn around and have to order some graduation announcements. I just don’t know if I’m ready for this or not but I still have a few years to go. I swear it seems like yesterday that I was a care free single girl and now here I am a mother of four thinking about my kids future.
What time is it?
I wouldn’t know because I haven’t worn a watch in years. Seriously, I haven’t. It always seem that if I need to know what time it is then I can just glance over at the cable box in the living room, or look at the time on the coffee pot and of course there is the time at the bottom right hand corner of the computer screen. If I happen to be out and about then all I have to do is pull out my cell phone or look at the clock on my van’s dashboard. So, see, I really don’t have a need for swiss army watches or anything.
