Poor Miley just cannot catch a break. She recently did a Vanity Fair photo shoot with the world famous photographer, Annie Leibovitz. And as you can see from the pic below that she is semi-topless. She is now being bashed all over the net for this too. I see nothing wrong with it. It’s tasteful and not scandalous. I mean, Billy Ray is there with her. Very pretty, actually.

Have you seen them? I have and they are NOTHING. Seriously. NOTHING. Just 2 teen girls having fun and being silly. I’m not posting them because they are all over the celebrity gossip sites so you don’t have to look very hard. The poor girl even got grilled about them on a recent radio show.

You know what? My 9 year old and her best friend hug and love on each other all the time. They call each other “sissy” and tell each other “love you”. And if they gave each other a little peck it seriously would not bother me. It’s all completely innocent.

But the difference here is that Miley is a superstar and the gossip hounds and tabloids are just waiting to pounce on the poor girl for any little thing. But the big question is…who leaked those pictures? Whoever did knew they’d make a big stink.

Bad news. No Jonas Brothers.

Good news! Aly and AJ will replace the Jonas Brothers!

Bad news. Who cares about Aly and AJ? We want the Jonas Brothers!

I’m curious to see if there will be as much demand for tickets without the Jonas Brothers opening the shows. I’m thinking not.

Ever since I posted about our Hannah Monatana/Jonas Brothers concert experience I’ve been getting several emails, comments, and search engine requests asking about the MileyWorld Pink Bus Party before the concert, what time to get there, how long it lasts, etc… I am going to answer those questions in this entry! Aren’t you just beside yourself with excitment? I knew you would be! Let’s get started…

Getting Hannah Montana tickets at the last minute.

Our concert was supposedly “sold out”. Well, that was a big fat lie. It was not sold out. We got our tickets during the presale and the best seats Ticketmaster would give us was in the nosebleed section. The week before the concert Tickemaster released 1000 more tickets and were still selling them up until 1 hour before the concert started. Lots of my daughters friends who could not get tickets during the presale and when the went on sale to the public ended up getting floor seats next to the stage with tickets purchase just hours before the show. Moral of the story is this… Don’t give up even though Tickemaster and the venue says “sold out”. Not true!

The Ultimate Miley Party

Mileyworld.com sponsors a fun pre-concert party 2 hours before every show. They park this big pink tour bus out in front of the venue and have all kinds of fun activities planned from getting your picture taken with Miley’s Grandmother to singing Karaoke. They also give out raffle tickets for preshow backstage passes and other passes. The party is open to everyone but if you are a Mileyworld.com member then bring your membership card to get extra raffle tickets. You do not have to be a member of Mileyworld to go to this party and win prizes. There is an invitation that is sent to all members the day before the concert and you can print this out and bring it along if you don’t have your card. If you are not a member then you can still go to the party and you will get one raffle ticket instead of 3. Oh, and be prepared to stand in some very long lines.

How long does the Hannah Montana concert last?

Our show started at 7pm and ended at around 9pm or so. When parking, plan ahead so you are not trapped in the parking lot for 45 minutes like we were.

Are cameras allowed at the Hannah Montana concert?

At our concert they were but check with the venue first.

Did anyone catch sweet Miley Cyrus on Oprah yesterday? That girl is so adorable and absolutely gorgeous, don’t you agree? I just hope and pray she can stay as grounded as she seems and doesn’t end up in some addiction treatment center like Brit Brit and LiLo. Maddie used to LOVE Lindsey Lohan and it’s so sad when I 9 year old has to find out that the star of some of her favorite movies has been in drug rehab. I hope Miley stays a good girl and doesn’t ever disappoint her fans.

I know you all have been waiting for my recap of The Hannah Montana concert. Well, you can breathe a huge sigh of relief because I am here to tell you all about it.

It was AWESOME. So much fun! Seriously, this was such a great experience and to be able to share this experience with my daughter and watch her have so much fun was worth every penny that I spent for the tickets, the souvenir t-shirt, and the outrageously expensive arena food.

The show started at 7pm but we got to the Centurytel Center at 4:30 for the Ultimate Miley Party sponsored by Mileyworld.com, the official Miley Cyrus fanclub of which we are proud members.

OK, folks. Tonight is the big Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert and you can just imagine the excitement and anticipation around here. Actually, I think I’m more excited than Maddie. Seriously!

We are heading over to the venue at around 4:30pm or so for The Ultimate Miley Party. There will be this huge pink bus in the parking lot with Miley’s face on it. According to the invitation we received from Mileyworld.com they will be giving away prizes including backstage passes. There will also be karaoke and lots of other fun stuff.

Oh and we can’t forget that the Jonas Brothers will be opening up the show.? Eeeeeep!? Cuties!

So, you probably won’t hear from me again until sometime tomorrow. I know you all will be just dying to hear all about it. Right???
