If you’ve been following the celeb news today you’ve probably already heard about the Paula Abdul fan who was found dead near Abdul’s home on Tuesday night. While reading MJ’s I found out that she actually auditioned in season 5. I totally remember this girl! This is so sad.

Well, the big buzz on the net this morning was Paula Abdul’s big goof on American Idol last night. Apparently Paula can see into the future because she critiqued Jason Castro on a song he had not performed yet. Take a look…

Looks like American Idol is reporting their lowest ratings in years right now.

Other than David Cook there’s nobody good left. This has to be the most boring top 5 in Idol history. Brooke White has turned into a complete joke with all the pouting and crying. Plus she messed up on 2 different performances! Jason Castro is just weird and can’t sing worth crap. David Archuleta, while a good singer, is blah blah blah. Syesha really has a fantastic voice but, in my opinion, there really isn’t anything that special about her. I think she’ll do great on Broadway but sell records? Nah.

I predict that both Michael Johns and Carly Smithson have “Daughtry-like” success and the rest will end up being a bunch of has beens within a year.

The fact that I keep forgetting Syesha when I do my polls is not a good sign.

I forgot to mention in my initial recap below that I enjoyed Amanda tonight! Amanda doesn’t really have that good of a voice but what I like about her is that she is totally comfortable with herself. She just gets out there and does her thing.

Brooke is my favorite girl right now and I thought her performance was pretty good tonight. Not great but good enough. OMG, I hated how she kept butting in while Simon was talking. Got on my last nerve. She’s going to look back at this video and kick herself.
