The Jonas Brothers are unstoppable, y’all! In addition to making music, touring, Camp Rock, and their upcoming TV series, J*O*N*A*S, the boys, including little brother Frankie, are set to start filming a movie for the big screen. It will be called Walter the Farting Dog based on a series of children’s books.

Brace yourselves, Disney fans. The Jonas Brothers are about to get bigger than ever!

The teen pop stars have signed on to make their big screen debut in Walter The Farting Dog, the trade journal Variety reports.

The boys will appear alongside their younger brother Frankie – sometimes known as the “Bonus Jonas” – in the film, which is scheduled to start shooting in Spring 2009.

Based on a bestselling series of books by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray, the movie casts the teen heartthrobs as musicians whose sickly great-aunt asks them to care for her stupendously smelly canine companion.

“By the time they’ve driven the dog home, everybody’s head is out the window of the family station wagon,” said Peter Farrelly – half of the famous Farrelly Brothers directing team – who has been closely involved in developing the film. “But Frankie has a serious sinus problem and doesn’t notice the stench coming from Walter.”

So while his siblings provide the music, Frankie and the gaseous pooch get involved in a series of family-friendly adventures, eventually thwarting a team of jewel thieves.

This may be their first major movie, but Nick, Joe and Kevin are certainly no strangers to the camera. Their TV flick Camp Rock was a mega-hit, and they’re now preparing for their own Disney series, J*O*N*A*S.

Taylor Hicks is used to being the object of adoring fans – but when the Jonas Brothers made a TV appearance in New York, the American Idol swapped roles.

Hicks, who is currently starring in Grease on Broadway, couldn’t resist partaking in Jonas Brothers mania with thousands of other fans outside of the Live With Regis & Kelly studios in New York City Thursday morning, he told PEOPLE.

“Once I arrived and saw all the Jonas Brothers fans, I got in on the screaming. We were all having a great time out there,” said Hicks, who grabbed a sign from a fan and proudly held it up when the band arrived for the show. “We were all just being fans and that’s a cool thing.”

Asked if he’s really a true fan, he told PEOPLE “I am!”

“What they do is awesome because it gets kids into music,” said Hicks who was at the ABC studio to tape a performance of “Beauty School Dropout” for the show’s Broadway Week celebration, to air on Friday

Camp Rock starring the Jonas Brothers airs on The Disney Channel next month! It’s going to be HUGE. Well, for my tween girls it is. Ok, and me too. I love the JoBros!

The Jonas Brothers were on the Oprah Winfrey show today. I’m recording it for my daughter to watch later but of course it’s already online. I love Red Lasso!

Attention Jonas Brothers fans! Here is the official trailer of the new Disney channel original movie, Camp Rock. It looks really good and will be perfect for those of you that loved the High School Musical movies. Camp Rock premiers on June 20th. My daughter wants to have a Camp Rock viewing party. Oh, I love being the mother to a tween.

So are you wondering what it’s like to be a Jonas Brother? You will get to find out very soon. They are actually getting their own mini reality series on The Disney Channel this spring.

The series, which is shooting under the working title “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream,” will follow the on- and off-stage lives of the platinum-selling trio — Kevin, Joe and Nick — on their current Look Me in the Eyes tour.

OK, so we’ve got this, then Camp Rock this summer, a possible concert to attend if I can work out the details, and then they will have their own TV series this fall (J.O.N.A.S). Yep, we’re looking at some possible Jonas overload around here.
