The Hannah Montana movie is currently filming in Tennessee right now. Check this out… Gusty winds caused a huge piece of lighting equipment to crash into a ferris wheel WITH PEOPLE ON IT. No one was seriously injured but it looks really scary. You can hear the screams and the laughter. Laughter? See for yourself…

This is Thomas Sturges. He’s just a nerdy looking little boy who appears to be Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend. Poor thing is currently one of the top searches on Google right now. People are frantically searching like mad crazed freaks for any information on this child. It will be so funny if he turns out to be her gay best friend or something. The pictures are not that bad (a little sleazy for a 15 year old Disney role model, though) and this is coming from a mom.

Miley Cyrus and her BFF Mandy (that’s Best Friend Forever in case you aren’t as hip and trendy and down with all the tweens as I am) have started their own webshow. I think it’s cute. Miley is cute.

Dear Miley Cyrus,

Honey, you apparently have someone on your Myspace friends that is taking much joy in leaking your personal pics to all the celebrity gossip blogs. I defended your sleepover pics. They were completely innocent in my opinion but the most recent ones (that I am not going to link to)? Not so much. I’m disappointed. And concerned.

Is this what all teenage girls do in the privacy of their rooms? Take half naked pics of themselves and post them on myspace? Apparently so. My girls will NOT have access to a computer in their rooms for this very reason. EVER. I’m dead serious. I see it way too much.

To my teen readers: please know that while it may be cool and funny to take these types pics they are archived on the internet FOREVER. Do you hear me? FOREVER. You can delete delete delete and they will still be there tucked safely away just waiting for your future employers to dig them up and NOT give you that job that you so desperately need.

I’m just disgusted.

This story has caused a big uproar with concert goers. My opinion? So what! She just needed extra time to transition from Hannah Montana into Miley. She had to take that hair out of that damn wig, curl it, blot all that sweat, touch up makeup, change clothes and get her looking fresh again. The body double was on stage for less than a minute. Simmer down peoples!

NEW YORK (AP) — It was ever so brief, but the use of a body double by Miley Cyrus on her best-selling “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus ‘Best of Both Worlds’” tour is creating plenty of buzz.

A video posted on YouTube shows the 15-year-old entertainer as “Hannah” dancing onstage with a group of dancers and the Jonas Brothers, also on the tour. During the song, someone ushers her offstage via a trap door. Immediately, another girl dressed like the character “Hannah” in the same pink trench coat with blonde hair covering her faces dances around, runs up the stage set, and then quickly leaves.

While the double is holding a microphone for her less than a minute, the girl motions like she is singing. However, a rep for Miley said the switch was only for costume purposes.

“To help speed the transition from Hannah to Miley, there is a production element during the performance of ‘We Got the Party’ incorporating a body double for Miley,” according to statement Friday from the public relations firm PMK.

“After Hannah has completed the featured verse on the duet with the Jonas Brothers, a body double appears approximately one to two minutes prior to the end of the song in order to allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set. Other than during this very brief transitional moment in the show, Miley performs live during the entirety of both the Hannah and Miley segments of the concert.”

Miley’s “Hannah Montana” tour is one of the nation’s hottest tours, selling out within minutes when tickets went on sale last fall. Some people have been reselling tickets for thousands of dollars. Miley has released two albums under the “Hannah Montana” brand, both of which have sold more than two million copies.

The “Hannah Montana” is an offshoot of the Walt Disney Co. TV show.
