This is what my almost 10 year old daughter told me today about Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian from Chronicles of Narnia). I love being the mother of a tween. They’re so cute with their celebrity crushes. Not so sure I like her calling a 27 year old man hot, though.

I am so happy that David Cook won AI last night. This was probably the most emotional winning moment AI has ever had. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a contestant break down like that. He sooo deserved it. I have to admit that I thought David Archuleta had it in the bag, though. His fans did too. That is the smuggest (is that a real word?) bunch fans I’ve ever encountered on the AI boards. Don’t worry Archies. Disney will snatch him up and he’ll probably get his own tv show and become the next Hannah Montana or whatever. Little Archie will be fine. But I’ll be buying Michael Johns CD. How freaking hot was he last night. OMGZ.

This promo is even longer and man it looks sooo good. It has a real “OC Vibe” to it too. At the time of the video the dad, Harry Mills, had not be cast. Former Melrose Place hottie, Rob Estes, will be playing Harry who also happens to be the principal at West Beverly High.

Sidenote: If you are a new reader to this blog you should know that I love teen dramas. I do not like grown up tv shows but prefer to let my innerteen shine through at all times.

I just watched this season 2 promo video for Gossip Girl and it really made me take notice of how much this show has grown and changed since the pilot episode. It just keeps getting better and better. If you’re not watching Gossip Girl then you need to. It’s geared toward teens but it’s my guilty pleasure. I love this show!

Gossip Girl season finale airs on 5/19. Season 2 kicks off 9/1. And if you’ve never seen the show well you’ll be able to watch it on DVD on 8/19. Amazon.com is taking pre-orders now. You can also download individual episodes there for only $1.99 too.

I just saw this on the news and OMG it it so creepy. You have to watch it. Of course, I’m sure it’s fake but it sure did freak me out.

Camp Rock starring the Jonas Brothers airs on The Disney Channel next month! It’s going to be HUGE. Well, for my tween girls it is. Ok, and me too. I love the JoBros!

Jeff Archelta, the stage Dad from hell, has officially been banned from backstage and rehearsals at American Idol. He’s allowed to sit in the audience and that’s it. Why? Because he made little Archie add some lyrics from Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girl” to his performance of “Stand By Me” last week. The problem with this is that the song was not cleared and now AI has legal fees to deal with.

Jeff Archuleta’s intense backstage involvement had become a source of concern for the series, the person connected with “American Idol” said — but it was a lyric change on Tuesday’s show that pushed producers to act.

Despite a warning, Jeff Archuleta insisted on altering “Stand by Me,” one of two songs his son sang on the show Tuesday. By adding a verse from Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls,” the father incurred additional costs for “American Idol,” the person said. Read Full Article.

Do you think this will hurt Archie’s chances at winning American Idol? I don’t. I think his fans will vote even harder now. My money is on David Cook, though.

OK, so I know children are God’s gift and all but I just don’t understand this. How can a body take being pregnant that much? Having 4 was enough for me. To each his own I guess.
