Brooke White is finally eliminated and sobs her way through her “sing out”. Dear, God. She’s a mess. And then there’s Jason Castro grinnin’ like a big goober behind her. Is it the finale yet? I’m ready to see Michael back on the stage.

Well, the big buzz on the net this morning was Paula Abdul’s big goof on American Idol last night. Apparently Paula can see into the future because she critiqued Jason Castro on a song he had not performed yet. Take a look…

Sigh…

This show sucks so bad now. Absolutely horrible. Jason Castro must go. Immediately. The rest? Well Cookie was pretty good but the others were beyond boring.

Michael Johns would have rocked “America”, btw.

First, before you do anything…. go into the kitchen RIGHT NOW. Get one of those big gallon sized ziploc bags and fill it full of ice. Trust me. You’re gonna need it. This is hotness x a million.

Ace’s true diehard fans who have been with him from day one have been waiting for this for what seems like a lifetime.

Ace Young Addicted Video Premiere

Vanity Fair just released this behind the scenes video of the recent photo shoot Miley just did with Annie Leibovitz. It looks very natural and relaxed definitely nothing to be “embarrassed” about. Can you believe she is embarrassed by the Vanity Fair pics? What about her revealing Myspace photos? That’s what I’d be embarrassed about.

Poor Miley just cannot catch a break. She recently did a Vanity Fair photo shoot with the world famous photographer, Annie Leibovitz. And as you can see from the pic below that she is semi-topless. She is now being bashed all over the net for this too. I see nothing wrong with it. It’s tasteful and not scandalous. I mean, Billy Ray is there with her. Very pretty, actually.

Both of my celebrity boyfriends were in attendance at the White House Correspondence Dinner last night. Looks like they got together and decided to dress like twins.

American Idol contestant (he was robbed!), Michael Johns

Looks like American Idol is reporting their lowest ratings in years right now.

Other than David Cook there’s nobody good left. This has to be the most boring top 5 in Idol history. Brooke White has turned into a complete joke with all the pouting and crying. Plus she messed up on 2 different performances! Jason Castro is just weird and can’t sing worth crap. David Archuleta, while a good singer, is blah blah blah. Syesha really has a fantastic voice but, in my opinion, there really isn’t anything that special about her. I think she’ll do great on Broadway but sell records? Nah.

I predict that both Michael Johns and Carly Smithson have “Daughtry-like” success and the rest will end up being a bunch of has beens within a year.

The Jonas Brothers were on the Oprah Winfrey show today. I’m recording it for my daughter to watch later but of course it’s already online. I love Red Lasso!

I had a mini-freakout today because I found out that the American Idol Live Tour is coming to my town on 8/26! This is the first time the show has come here. I went to a show in Dallas 2 years ago for season 5 and had a blast. Got to meet Ace Young, Chris Daughtry and all the others. So much fun!

And the best part is that the show will be here on my daughter’s 10th birthday. She is so excited. She invited her best friend and her mom (who, thank God, is an AI Freak like me) and they’ve got it all planned out. They will be making a big sparkely poster that says “Today Is My Birthday”. We will be checking the kids out of school early that day to go stalk the Idol at the venue. They always come out and meet fans by the bus area. OMFG I’m gonna meet Michael Johns!
