My name is Allison and I’m an American Idol Junkie! Wooot!

This year is going to be the best year for American Idol. The talent is absolutely unbelievable. My fave by far is Michael Johns (aka The Hawt Aussie) He sang “Light My Fire” and “Bohemian Rhapsody”. Man, he nailed it.

I also love the Biker Rocker Nurse, Amanda Overmeyer. Well, I love her. Her singing style is not my favorite but her personality wins me over. I can’t wait to see what else she can do.

My 9 year old got all shy and embarrassed over David Archuleta’s performance. She was totally crushin’ on him. And I agree the kid was great and cute as a bug too.. I can see why he won Star Search when he was 12. Yeah, they didn’t tell you that on the show did they?

There was only one person that I absolutely could not stand and that was Josiah Lemming. He was the kid who dropped out of school to live in his car and traveled around playing music. Actually, let’s back up a bit. I LOVED him at his initial audition. Hell, I was crying right along with him. I know that he is one of 9 kids and his mother is sick with cancer. But tonight? Why did he have to go and get all cocky? Asking the band to leave the stage? Get over yourself, babydoll. Ya ain’t all that. And stop all that crying, son! Dang.

So tomorrow night the top 24 is announced but I already know who made it. My Michael is there and that is all that matters. Yay!
