I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I’m sitting here with my family drinking a lovely mojito and watching some Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year’s Eve. I just had the pleasure of watching my nine year old swoon over the Jonas Brothers and I loved every minute of it. Now, I’m off to drink some more and shoot some fireworks!

I always see these Paparazzi videos on the celeb gossip sites but I never watch them. Why? Because I have this weird thing about seeing people in candid and uncomfortable positions. Well, I decided to watch this one and OH.MY.GOD. These assholes are relentless. I actually feel sorry for the girls. And don’t go sayin’ “it’s part of being a celebrity”. Nobody should have do deal with this shit. I wanted her to run over them but then they would sue her.

I will admit that the little Asian lady and her kids knocking on the window was funny. Oh the the McDonald’s worker, “Put me on TMZ!”. Crazy stuff, folks.

Have you seen them? I have and they are NOTHING. Seriously. NOTHING. Just 2 teen girls having fun and being silly. I’m not posting them because they are all over the celebrity gossip sites so you don’t have to look very hard. The poor girl even got grilled about them on a recent radio show.

You know what? My 9 year old and her best friend hug and love on each other all the time. They call each other “sissy” and tell each other “love you”. And if they gave each other a little peck it seriously would not bother me. It’s all completely innocent.

But the difference here is that Miley is a superstar and the gossip hounds and tabloids are just waiting to pounce on the poor girl for any little thing. But the big question is…who leaked those pictures? Whoever did knew they’d make a big stink.

I can’t believe I didn’t post about this yesterday but it was just too busy. I hoped on the computer to check email yesterday afternoon only to find an email from Blingo.com. The title of the email was “You and Your Friend Won on Blingo!”. I was like, oh cool, a movie ticket. Yay!

But no it was not a movie ticket. It was a $100 Target Giftcard. Merry Christmas to Me and Thank you Christie (my old Livejournal blogging buddie) for searching on Blingo and winning.

Blingo really pays. This is the 3rd thing I’ve won from them. One thing I won on my own and the other 2 were because someone who signed up under me won. OMG. AM SO TIRED.

Yesterday was non-stop action here at the Java household. The kids went crazy for their Wii and it’s pretty much all they did yesterday. The TV was never on the regular channels. All we did was bowl, play golf and box. We also Boogied down quite a bit too.

Today the husband goes back to work and the kids want to go spend all their giftcards and christmas money that other family members gave them. I swear they have more money than I do!

My kids are about to BURST with excitement.? The twins especially.? Remember that feeling?? They want to make cookies for Santa like RIGHT THIS MINUTE and all I want to do is drink my coffee and stress over the fact that I only have about a third of the gifts wrapped and 4 more to buy.? Also I have to make 2 casseroles (sweet potato and broccoli, rice and cheese) and some spinach dip before tonight.? Oh, and we can’t forget the Santa cookies now can we?? Oh Lord, get me? through this!
