Just wanted to remind you that I also have a book blog. I have a few new entries over there and would love some new readers. Oh won’t you make me happy and subscribe to my feed there.

I want thank Elizabeth over at Table for Five for buying me a Starbucks. What a wonderful surprise in my inbox this morning! I haven’t brought it to your attention yet but I have a little link over to the right where you can donate $4 to fund my Starbucks habit.

Now before you go getttin’ your panties all in a wad, I’m just trying this out. I certainly don’t expect you all to start sending me money everyweek so I can go to Starbucks, OK? I’m just messing around. Got it? Good.

It’s actually a Wordpress Plugin called the Buy Me A Beer Plugin that John Chow posted about last week. He has it added to the end of every single post but I figured that was a little overkill for me. I debated about it and decided oh what the heck. I’m really not a mooch…just a coffee addict who can’t afford to support her habit quite like she’d like.

Elizabeth, you are so thoughtful to click that button over there and I will be heading to my favorite Starbucks first thing in the morning and purchasing a Venti Mocha Frapp in your honor. Thank you!

PayPerPost just launched a brand new program for blogs I’m very excited to tell you about called PPP Direct.

If you look in my sidebar to the right I have a shiny new button there that says HIRE ME. Well, if you are an advertiser and want to pay me to review your site or products then you just click on it and a little box will pop up. Go ahead and try it to see what happens. You don’t have to order a review…just check it out. Anyway, the thing that makes PPP Direct better than other direct review sites like Review Me is the fees that they charge. Review Me takes 50%. Yes, you read that correctly…50 PERCENT. PPP Direct charges just 10%, and half of that goes to the transaction fees for PayPal and credit card processing. I don’t know about you but I don’t feel like giving away that much of my money so I highly recommend giving PPP Direct a shot.

If you want more information then you can check out the details at the PPP blog. There is also a very informative video there that shows you step-by-step exactly how to use the program. Eventually they will launce a “marketplace” with all participating PPP Direct blog so that advertisers can choose who they want to hire to write their reviews.

Right now I’m asking $10 per review for PPP Direct offers but blogs with more traffic and readership can ask a whole lot more. I’m telling you people….PayPerPost has been very good to me and if you want to get paid to blog then you should check them out.

I was so excited to read over at TLC that OotP will now be opening in theaters on July 11th instead of the 13th! I don’t know why they changed it but I’m very excited.

Anybody have any tips on getting rid of fleas in your home? I am at my wits end. We had a little cat that we were taking care of for a while and even though the cat is no longer in the house it left behind fleas. The twins have so many bites on them it makes me sick. I am trying to avoid calling an exterminator but I may have to. I have vacuumed like a mad woman, sprayed insecticide, sprinkled my carpet with Borax..and other tips? I am desperate.

I debated about posting this here but oh what the heck. It’s my blog and if I make myself look like a 13 year old fangirl then so be it. In my heart I will forever be 13.

Getting a shout out from your celebrity boyfriend is a great way to end a shitty week.
